Location can often play a crucial role when choosing a course and our convenient learning locations across north, central and south Manchester ensure that you’re able to find a course at a location that suits your needs, whether that means studying closer to home, near work or even online!

Abraham Moss Adult Learning Centre

One of our larger centres, Abraham Moss Adult Learning Centre is home to several courses from our maths, English, education and digital skills areas. In January, you can study:

Forum Learning

Located in the Forum Centre, Forum Learning is easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by lots of amenities such as the leisure centre, civic centre and library which you can take advantage of before or after your class. Courses starting in January include:

Gorton Hub is a learning, health and community hub that brings together a range of different services under the same roof. Our classrooms are located on the ground floor and if you join us in January, you can apply now to learn:

Greenheys Adult Learning Centre

Our biggest adult learning centre, Greenheys is in the town of Moss Side and offers a large programme of courses to choose from. In January, you can join the below courses:

Newton House Adult Learning Centre

A smaller learning centre, courses at Newton House focus on growing your skills in core areas maths, English and digital skills.

There are no courses starting here in January, but you will be able to register your interest in courses in September in the coming months.

The Avenue Library and Learning Centre

On the corner of Victoria Avenue East, The Avenue Library and Learning Centre is a modern building equipped with books, free wifi and internet-ready computers. Our classrooms are in a dedicated Manchester Adult Education area on the first floor of the building. If this is your nearest centre, courses available to study from January are:

Situated in the heart of Withington, Withington Adult Learning Centre is a small centre which is home to our STEPS programme and a range of our courses available from January including:

Online courses give you the freedom to learn independently or from a location that suits you. You can now apply to study any of the following online courses:

For courses starting from January, you can now join by booking an appointment at one of our January Enrolment Days where you will meet with one of our tutors, complete a small initial assessment and enrol on to a course.
