Caring for Children (Level 1 Certificate) | Designed to stimulate interest and encourage adults’ understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to care for young children. It is aimed at a range of adults, those who are thinking of working in childcare. | 18 Weeks |
Support Work in Schools and Colleges (Level 2 Award) | Develop the skills and knowledge to work or volunteer in a school or college setting. | 15 Weeks |
Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 2 Certificate) | Learn about children and young peoples’s development. Develop the skills and knowledge to support those with disabilities or special educational needs in a college, primary/secondary or special school. | 36 Weeks *18 class delivery |
Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities Online | Develop knowledge and understanding required to work with individuals with learning disabilities or difficulties. Principles of safeguarding are included together with positive risk taking and awareness of the autistic spectrum. | 16 weeks |
Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values Online | Increase your knowledge and awareness of the safeguarding, Prevent and British Values | 12 weeks |
Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner | Gain the understanding and skills that a level 2 early years practitioner needs to demonstrate to be considered qualified to support young children from birth to 5 years old. You must be in paid or voluntary work to undertake this qualification to enable assessment to take place. | 36 weeks |
Level 3 Supporting teaching and learning in school | Develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable you to work in the following roles; teaching assistant, classroom assistant, learning support assistant, additional needs assistant, pastoral/welfare support assistant, bilingual support assistant or foundation stage assistant. You must be in paid or voluntary work to undertake this qualification to enable assessment to take place. | 36 weeks |
