Route 1
Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship
The Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship is designed for aspiring teachers looking to develop their teaching skills. Through a combination of classroom learning and on the job training, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge to excel in the field of education.
Route 2
Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (FE and Skills)
This advanced course is perfect for experienced teachers in the further education sector. Through study and practical application, you will develop the skills needed to deliver high-quality teaching in a variety of Post-16 settings.
Route 3
Level 3 Adult Education and Training
Ideal for those new to teaching, or looking to explore a career in this area, the Level 3 Adult Education and Training course provides a solid foundation in educational theory and practice. You will learn essential teaching techniques and gain the confidence to deliver engaging lessons.
Enhance your teaching
In addition to our core courses, we offer a variety of supporting courses that can help enhance your teaching practice. From safeguarding and understanding behaviour that challenges to English for literacy teaching and mathematics in context. We’ve got everything you need to become a well-rounded and effective teacher/trainer.
On the Level 1 Award in Safeguarding in a Learning Environment course you will learn why everyone has the right to learn, be safe and be respected. You will be able to recognise a safe and secure learning environment that promotes your health and wellbeing.
The purpose of this course is to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills of Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values.
You will develop an understanding of the effects of extremism, radicalisation and terrorism. You will learn how to promote equality, diversity and social inclusion in the workplace and gain an understanding of safeguarding and online safety.
Studying this course will help you to acquire the skills and knowledge required by employers to provide information, advice and guidance if it’s needed as part of your core job role.
By studying a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges, you will gain an understanding of the common causes of behaviour that challenges. You will also improve your knowledge of effective communication, the role of reflection and learn how to support individuals involved in dealing with incidents of challenging behaviour with adults.
This course is suitable for you if you’re looking to assess occupational competence in the work environment and/or vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (i.e., a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
Our Level 3 Award in English for Literacy Teaching is perfect for those who wish to develop their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, with a view to applying their skills to teach learners literacy and ESOL up to level 2.
This course is suitable for you if you’re looking to assess occupational competence in the work environment and/or vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (i.e., a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
The Level 3 Certificate in Maths in Context aims to build on skills learnt at GCSE level and take your maths learning further. You will develop your skills for specific careers or refine them if you’re planning to study subjects such as Science, Geography, Business, Economics, or social sciences at a higher learning level.
