Improve your maths skills

Improve your maths with expert support to help you get a job, progress at work or go onto further training.

We have Maths courses at all our Adult Learning Centres and are suitable for Greater Manchester residents. 

Before you start a course we will listen you your requirements and carefully assess your skills to make sure you join a course that is right for you. 

How will you learn?

We have daytime and evening classes, these are centre based with one or two sessions each week.  Classes are small and an expert tutor will guide you through the course to enable you to achieve.  For all classes there is independent learning at home too to support your learning.

GCSE Maths

Our year-long GCSE maths courses start in September 2023 in centres across the city.
This course can help you progress to courses in Further or Higher education and help you develop your career.

Level 3 Core Maths

We are looking forward to offering a Level 3 core maths course again from September 2023.The Level 3 core maths in context can help to take your learning further.  Accredited by Pearson Edexcel, the Mathematics in Context course builds on GCSE maths to apply maths to real world contexts and problems.

Entry requirements: Maths GCSE at Grade 5 (C) or above or an assessment to demonstrate maths skills at this level is an essential requirement. English at GCSE/Level 2 Functional skills is desirable. Confident digital skills to enable the completion of assignments.
