Health and Social Care - Eunice

My long term aim is to go into Mental Health nursing so I decided to do a health and social care course alongside getting English and Maths qualifications to help me along the way. I’ve learnt a lot on the course about how to work with vulnerable adults and children. I’ve learnt about communication and how to show your respect for different people as individuals. I’ve been given great feedback too from my tutor to help me improve my written work. The course has had a really positive affect on me, making me more aware of not forcing my perceptions on others and letting people make their own decisions. This has even had an impact on the way I deal with my own children. If you do a course like this you might feel nervous at first but carry on and you’ll be fine. Learning is great for making new friends and helping with your life and family as well as reaching your career goals.
