    Welcome Sessions: If you would like to join one of our Adult Health and Social Care courses you must first attend a Welcome Session (unless you are attending one of our September enrolment dates). To book your Welcome session click here and contact your nearest centre.

    Making Career Choices in Care and Education Not sure exactly what area you want to work in? Find out more about working in childcare, health and social care, and support work in schools. 15 hours
    Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (Level 1 Award) Learn some basic skills you need to work in a care setting, and find out more about the different jobs in the sector. 11 weeks
    Mental Health Awareness (Level 1 Award) Develop your awareness of mental health. This course complements study in a range of areas, including healthcare services   5 weeks
    Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (Level 2 Certificate) Develop knowledge and skills for working with adults in this sector. You need to be working or undertaking work experience to complete this course. 36 weeks
    Safeguarding in a Learning Environment (Level 1 Award) Enhance your learning and professional development around safeguarding in the workplace.   6 weeks
    Mentoring in Care and Education Explore the roles and responsibilities, and develop skills of an effective mentor. 12 weeks 
    Supporting Individuals with Learning Difficulties (Level 2 Award) Develop skills and knowledge to work or volunteer with individuals with learning disabilities.  18 weeks
